Last week we created space for miracles to happen. It always surprises me when I pull the same cards two weeks in a row and now it’s happened yet again! Just as we started last week with the Magical Map Shifter card, so we begin this one. As we allow ourselves to open up to Spirit and to spend more and more time in a connected state, we begin to notice more synchronicity in our lives. The Magical Map Shifter comes to us again to let us know that magic is all around us, all the time! When we are open to the happenings and people in our lives we are able to transform even small events in meaningful experiences. The re-occurrence of this card is a reminder to not let go of our newly gained perspective – continue to allow the magic to unfold and understand that people come into our lives to assist us in our process.
We have been working a lot lately with creative energies and now is the time to begin the birthing process. Support has shown up and it is time to cast our desire into the Wishing Well. Here we are in our field of dreams and we have to power to manifest that which we most desire. What is it that you’ve been wanting to do or to create? Do you have an idea for a project that you’d like to initiate or a piece of art that you’d like to create? You may even want to plan a trip or begin thinking about having children. The sky is the limit – it’s just a matter of placing your wish in the well and then letting go of all expectations as to how the dream will manifest. Remember that the Divine is able to accomplish any thing in any way! Do not cap your desires through the limited scope of your own vision. The Magical Map Shifter is just one form of support for you – there are many more, and if you create the space for them to appear, without expectation of how they should be, you just may be amazed by the results!
Of course, the easy part is to cast the wish. The more difficult factor is to allow it to unfold without expectation of what it should look like. The Mountain card brings us two messages this week. The first is to not make mountains out of mole hills – keep drama out of your wishing well! This process comes to you now because you have prepared yourself by releasing that which no longer serves you and trusting that Spirit is taking care of you. It is oh so easy to get caught up in the drama though, so check yourself! When you feel that you are starting to worry about what your dreams look like or how or why or when they are going to manifest, it is time to take a step back and BREATHE. Secondly, Mountain reminds us to go with the flow. When we do see an obstacle in our path or something that needs to be taken care of (and we do always need to stay in action while simultaneously trusting in the Universe), it behooves us to take the path of least resistance. Just as the river flows gently around the mountain, so must we. Trying to climb it may seem like the most direct path, but it is also the most difficult and exhausting. When we are relaxed, we are able to remain open and connected to that place where the magic happens.
This is The Enchanted Map deck by Colette Baron-Reid, and it is one of my absolute favorites to work with!
