Weekly Reading: November 24-30, 2014 – Springing to Life

Coming to Life

We have a beautiful week ahead as we bring our dreams out of the incubation stage and into life. We begin with Coming to Life. This card shows up to reveal that we’ve done some work over the recent months, shed some old skin, and we are now able to bring the fruits of that growth out into the world. We hold the light of our labors up high and allow it to shine as we delicately dance with it. The butterfly shows the metamorphosis that has taken place as we emerge from our own personal cocoon. I feel like the shining light serves to guide us as well. If we allow it to show the way, and have full faith in the power of Spirit to lead us, our transformation becomes more powerful and more able to unfold. Have confidence in the signs that you get and the wisdom that you receive. It’s not necessary to look for solutions and answers right now; it is a time for us to turn within and trust the signals that we sense within us.

Gentle Gardener

This theme is continued in the Gentle Gardener card. The Wise Women cares for and watches over her children as they come to life, yet she is in a state of full trust. Her eyes are closed and the love and faith that she feels radiates out from within her. We are truly coming to life and it is echoed in this second card. In both of the first two cards we are emerging and both are a calling to trust in Spirit. We have already planted the seeds for our future; we have created visions of our goals and dreams and planted them in the field of possibility, and now it is time for us to trust that our dreams, our selves, our essences know how to do the rest. This card is truly a calling for us to be conscious co-creators, working with Spirit to manifest our desires and to grown into a more expansive version of ourselves. The possibilities are limitless if we truly believe in the infinite potential of Spirit. In this card, we are getting our wings, and although we may not be flying yet, we are about to!

Peaks of Joy

This week we can truly experience Peaks of Joy. We are undergoing great growth and we feel more connected to the Divine than ever. We have done tremendous healing and have faced many fears head on. We have turned within and trusted. Now, if we give ourselves permission to, we can take some time to fully savor that. Allow yourself to feel the exhilaration of what has unfolded, and give yourself permission to express joy in whatever way feels best for you. We’ve been serious and focused lately, and it’s had its place in our development, but one of the best ways to witness the unfolding of our visions is through the childlike and joyous expression of our most inner self. Be open, be free, laugh, love, lead with your heart and you will be able to fly higher and further than ever before.

Weekly Card Reading: October 27-November 7, 2014 – Prepare for Change

The Water Faery

This is a week of change for us, and we will need to go into it prepared. It seems that we have been allowing our emotions to run the show. The Water Faery comes to remind us that we are not our feelings. It’s easy to get caught up in the drama of our emotions, but if we can step outside of ourselves and know and trust that we are merely the one experiencing the feelings, then we can exact positive change with respect to our lives. If we allow them to flow, feelings can serves as a guide for us. Notice what you are feeling and honor it. Acknowledge it and thank it for showing you an aspect of yourself that needed to be revealed. We can then allow the energy of the Water Faery to wash away that which no longer serves us, and from there, we can create a new direction of flow for ourselves, one that better serves our highest good.

The King

We will need a sense of structure this week as well to balance out the feminine energy of our emotions. The King comes in this spread to tell us that we need to get our affairs in order. It’s time to take a fine-toothed comb to our finances and anything else that may be outstanding. What bills need to be paid? Do you need to settle affairs with someone or make an amends? Perhaps you need to bring structure into your life in some way. It’s time to create a solid foundation for ourselves. The realm of water has served us in many ways, but positive and constructive change is best achieved when we are also able to prepare for it through concrete action steps.

The Disruption card was the last pulled but I sense that it could come at any point during the week. Remember that the energies of the Water Faery and the King can help you to weather any storm by being at once fluid and solid. The water in this card flows over the solid foundation of stone, providing us with a visual reiteration of our message for this week. Accept your emotions with detachment and allow them to serve as your guide while simultaneously creating a strong foundation so that you can meet any disruption with a sense of security, safety and confidence. While any disruption can feel frightening, remember that the only constant is change. When we embrace it, we are able to glean the gifts of opportunity that it brings. Sometimes the break-up of a relationship can bring a brighter light into your world and the loss of a business partner may bring personal and professional opportunities that you never dreamed of.  We may not see the silver lining immediately, but when we trust that Spirit will reveal it to us in perfect Divine timing, we can experience great growth and transformation.

Weekly Card Reading: March 3-9, 2014 – Pause, Embody, Receive

Deep Freeze

We start the week with a need for some long overdue self-care. The Deep Freeze card lets us know that it is time to slow down and take a pause. It feels like many of us have been pushing ourselves forward, and while action steps are necessary and right, at times what is needed is quiet and reflection. Take some time to withdraw at the beginning of the week. Curl up with a good book, write in your journal, reflect and what is important to you. This may be a time to put arguments on hold as well, as being tangled up in emotional webs will keep us from moving forward. Take a look at where your relationships are suffering and ask yourself what you can let go of. Allow this time to be one of a cleansing hibernation before spring; your seeds won’t be able to sprout if they are tarnished by anger and resentment.

Spirit of Place

Mid-week, the Spirit of Place beckons us to emerge from our cocoon. Now that we have reflected, we are able to best and most clearly put forth that which we wish to seek. This card reminds us that the answer to our question is embodied within the question itself. It is much like the Gandhi quote, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” If you want more love in your life, be love. If it is prosperity that you are seeking, allow yourself to be prosperous. By fully feeling and experiencing that which we desire, we allow ourselves to enter into the vibration of it. Once we are a vibrational match to it, we can attract it to us. Moreover, once we are it, we have already achieved the quest; there is no more need to seek it out.

The process of this week is perfect for opening us up to our intuition. We have paused, we have embodied our desires, and now it is time to allow for the answers to come to us. We are all intuitive beings and we are all able to receive guidance from Spirit. In the Moonlight card, we are beckoned to explore this side of ourselves and to open up our psychic senses. Owl flies across the moon, reminding us that discernment and wisdom are key components in this practice. Offer your query up to the Divine and then allow for the guidance to come to you. Remember that Spirit often speaks to us symbolically; be aware and open to the multi-faceted language of God. The more that you trust your intuition and the more that you act on it, the easier it will become to tap into it. Honor the guidance with discernment and wisdom, and you will be able to achieve all your dreams!

Weekly Reading: February 17-23, 2014 – Leave Toxic Situations Behind

Crown Chakra

You have a bit of a tough week ahead, but know that you will come out stronger and more self-assured as a result of having taken an important action to clear toxicity from your environment. Before I get into the meat of the reading, we had a card pop out, and its function in this reading is to remind you that as you go through the challenges of the week, you are not alone. The Crown Chakra card sheds light on your connection with the Divine, and serves as a sort of talisman for the week. As you search for answers, meditate and check in with your intuition. Know that you are divinely supported every step along the way.

Deception & Envy

The beginning of the week forewarns us that things are not as they seem.  The Deception & Envy card advises you that it is time to take stock of those that are around you, as someone close to you may be holding information back or manipulating facts. You’ve worked hard to get where you are; be ready to defend what is yours and not let another twist the situation out of your favor. To be forewarned is to be able to take appropriate action. Be diligent and allow for the truth to be revealed.

Mental Conflict

This situation will require that we take some difficult action. Mid-week, the Mental Conflict card shows that it will be difficult for you to move forward. You may experience some anxiety as you attempt to come to grips with the appropriate manner in which to deal with the person or situation uncovered at the beginning of the week. Remember, though, that you have all of the strength that you need to move forward. Once you do, things will resolve themselves and the energy will be released that will allow for positive change. You are reminded as well that you do not have to go through this alone. Listen to your intuition and seek counsel – you have everything you need to take right action.

Moving On

We end the week with the Moving On card. This is great confirmation that despite the difficulties that we experienced earlier, we have taken care of everything in such a way as to allow us to move forward in a positive and empowered manner. The card shows that we are stepping out of shadow and into light, and the compass confirms that we are heading in the right direction. We are embarking on a new phase of our journey, and not only are we ready for it, but we are looking ahead, intent upon discovering a new path and new adventures.

Weekly Card Reading: February 10-16, 2014 – Prepare for a Big Shift and Lots of Love!

Magical Map Shifter

Something big is happening at the beginning of this week! Be prepared for someone new to come into your life either Monday or Tuesday. This person will be pivotal in creating an exciting change for you. The Magical Map Shifter card tells us that whoever it is, he or she will either show us or help us to realize something that will allow for a shift in our perspective so that we can be a more fulfilled and uplifted version of ourselves. Pay close attention and be very present in your life because I feel that for many of us, this person will actually not seem to play an obviously important role in our lives. Listen closely to the words of those around you as it may be a message that is delivered that allows for this change in consciousness to occur. The Divine often speaks to us through the mouths of loved ones and strangers alike, so be prepared to come across an earthly angel that can help you make some magic in your life.

Mid-week, we have the Rescue card. Remember that you are safe and cared for at all times. The change that occurs as a result of our chance encounter and subsequent epiphany may result in a shift that can feel imbalanced and uncertain at first, or it could be that some emotions arise that need to be addressed. For others, it may be something more concrete, like financial support or help finishing up a project. Remember that you are never alone and that help is always only a phone call away. This is not the time to try to get through it on your own. Reach out to find the hand of someone that can support you; all you need to do is ask. It is imperative to know, as well, that the Divine is always supporting you and the more aware of that you are, the less you will feel that you need rescuing.

Golden Palace

We end the week with our most popular week-ending card, the Golden Palace. This card has a double meaning. On the one hand, it tells us that we can expect abundance to come our way, and on the other, it reminds us that despite the ebbs and flows of money, true prosperity comes from within. In the context of this week’s reading, I’m being told that the weekend will be a great time for us to spend with our loved ones. Abundance is fully realized when we are able to share it with others and the resulting feelings of love and connection allow for more to flow to us. We create our own internal landscape, and we can choose for that to be a shack, in which we experience lack and mistrust, or for it to be a palace, in which we connect with Spirit through faith and trust and enjoy the opulence that comes from feeling blessed and cared for on all levels.

Weekly Card Reading September 9-15 2013: Clear the Clutter and Move On!

We’ve been processing a lot of emotions over the last month or so and doing so has allowed us to move into a deeper connection with ourselves and has opened the space for new opportunities and relationships with others. This week the process continues, only Spirit is asking us to start taking a look at the clutter that we’ve accumulated over the years so that we can begin to open up more physical (and hence emotional) space in our homes (and our hearts). We’ve allowed stuff to pile up around us, forming a little fortress around our hearts. As the clutter grows, we become easily distracted by the shiny objects around us, so to speak, and begin to experience a disconnect from our true essence. It is difficult to be present to ourselves and our lives when we have allowed ourselves to be swallowed by memories and objects.

Take time at the beginning of the week to start clearing this clutter. The Cleaning House card asks us to jump into a spring cleaning of our home. As you move through your house, ask yourself how much you really need the objects in it. What are you holding onto and why? If you are reluctant to let go of a memento from your past, ask yourself what it really is that you’re holding onto. All of these memories form ghosts in our home that can hold us back from truly moving into the full expression of our lives.

The Golden Palace card comes to us for mid-week. The card showed up reversed in the spread, meaning that we are holding onto what we believe security should look like a little too tightly. This is very closely related to the Cleaning House card and it asks us to further examine our relationship to all that we cling to. Are we holding onto that gift from our first love because we are afraid that we will never find love again? Do we have a closet overflowing with clothing because we fear that we won’t be able to buy more? As we examine these questions and emotions and begin to honestly sort through our belongings, we can begin to move into a true sense of faith and prosperity. I feel the card flipping over into an upright position as we undergo this process. As this happens, we begin to realize that true prosperity is our birthright and that the treasure is within us and has been the whole time. Finally, we see that self-worth is not measured by what we have, but by what we are.

This new understanding of us brings us to a new point along our journey, as demonstrated by the Talisman card. We are experiencing a deepening of wisdom with respect to ourselves that will light the way along our path. Our talisman not only protects us and brings us good luck, but it also opens us to a new experience altogether. We begin to notice the magic around us once we have the space to see it without the distractions and stuff that formerly clouded our vision.  We are now able to recognize the pitfalls and obstacles that have been holding us back so that we can create a more meaningful and fulfilling life. It all starts with the first step, and here we see that step guided by the yin-yang symbol – we feel more balanced and complete. So go ahead, and put your first foot out there!

Weekly Card Reading August 26-September 1, 2013: A Week of Manifestation and Joy!

Wow! This week looks great for us. We took the time we needed last week to release and heal and it is paying off for us now. The intensities of the energies that had us feeling a little lost and confused and that perhaps had us resorting to old patterns of behavior have been processed and we have learned how to experience and synthesize our emotions in a much more authentic manner. This has created a week of truly being able to enjoy life for all of the magic that it offers us.

The spread this week indicates that we are now in a time of deepening. We start off with the Ten of Earth card, which shows us that we can experience a happy and abundant family life. This security extends into all aspects of our lives and reminds us that the more we notice the magic around us, the more we can bring it into our lives. Take time to count your blessings and to feel on a very deep level just how bountiful the Universe is – all of our needs are met, and more, if we allow them to be. The glow worms further remind us to shine our light and the number 10 tells us that we are embarking on a new cycle.

As we begin to focus on the many blessings, our sense of gratitude and awe leads us into truly manifesting even more. I’m feeling that many of us are going to experience a major shift mid-week with respect to either a new job offer, a merger of some sort, or other opportunities that present themselves. The King of Earth card speaks of the Midas touch and that energy is fully coming through for me. The king cards in the Tarot accelerate the power of manifestation, and on top of that we are channeling this with glee. We are laughing and confident, proud without being smug; we are finally realizing that we deserve to receive the bounty of the Universe and we are beginning to align ourselves with it.

But wait – there’s more! Page of Water shows us that not only do we get to revel in a happy home life and financial security, but by mid-week we are going to see a shift in our relationships as well. For those of us already in a partnership, we will see it grow to a new level of intimacy. Some of us will even meet a new special someone this week. In addition to this, we will all really begin to experience ourselves on a deeper level. Prepare for a deepening of your intuition at the end of the week, but also be aware of what is going on around you. For many of us, the opportunities that come mid-week will align ourselves with our life purpose, as signified by the Whale in this picture.

This week is a time of joy! Enjoy this freedom and peace and use it to take another step or two in the direction of your dreams. This week I used the Angel Tarot by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine.
